It was icy cold. I could hardly breath. It felt like my chest was being compressed by some outside force. Where was I? Who was I? And, why was it so dark? I couldn’t seem to open my eyes. I heard a groan of pain and then stopped, listening intently. Then, I realized that… it was my voice. I was the one who had groaned. I didn't move, trying to ascertain if there were any other sounds.
